- - "So, my dear, what's your name and where do you hail from?"
Well, my full name is Elizabeth Marie Saunders. I was born in the beautiful south of France in the city called Nice. It really is a wonderful, picturesque town. I lived there with my parents, grandmother, and two brothers until the age of sixteen. My father was offered an internship at a real estate office in Lake Walters so we moved, naturally.
- - "Can you tell us just a bit about your family?"
My parents weren't extremely wealthy like most of our neighbors in France. Actually, we probably bordered on the side of low middle class to poor. Anyway, given those circumstances I like to think that they did the best for us kids. My mother, who was half Italian, taught us French, Latin, and Italian. She likes to nag us about our lives, but it's just showing an interest in our lives. She really is a sweet, kindly woman full of poise. My father, on the other hand, is a feeble, timid man. He is a pretty quiet gentleman who, most of the time, allows my mother to walk all over him at home. They really are quite a pair to see in action though. My oldest brother is the typical protective older sibling. He is very family oriented and not to mention ambitious. He is well on his way to working up the ladder at his job. I'm the middle child, and my younger brother follows in my father's footsteps -- he is a church mouse and doesn't say much. However, when he does talk he is extremely profound in what he says. I think that's why he's majoring in philosophy at college.
- - "What exactly is it that you do for a living?"
Well, you see, my job isn't what every little girl dreams of doing when she grows up. Trust me, I know that, but to me it is one of the best jobs in the world. I'm a housekeeper for the mayor of Lake Walters, and I must say it does have its perks.
- - "What's your personality like?"
My friends would say that I'm a big flirt with the opposite sex, and that I take too much pride in my appearance. I, however, think that while there may be some truth to those statements, I'm a pretty wonderful lady. I'm not one of those bitchy, high maintenance females. Actually, you know what? Scratch that. Most of the time I get called a nosy, demanding person, but I really don't care. I'm a strong and formidable woman who will work my butt off to get what I want and need.
- - "Last question here. What do you like best about yourself?"
Hmmm...I'm not trying to sound the least bit vain, but that's a toughie. I'm not one of those women who pretend to be frail and need to be waited on hand and foot (although that can be fun sometimes). I like my sense of opinion, and like every other woman I like getting compliments on my appearance.
