rules and guidelines
Hello and welcome to the rules and guidelines of WHERE WE BEGAN. Before you apply, and even join, you should read these over -- it'll help prevent confusion and such.
WRITING LEVEL; we like to think of ourselves as an advanced, literate writing group so that means no one to two sentence posts. while we don't expect you to write a miniature novel each and every time, or at all for that matter, you should be posting at least two and half paragraphs or so.
IMAGES; images should not stretch the forum in any way shape or form. as a general rule of thumb, signatures shouldn't be any wider than 400px and avatars should be the standard 150px X 200px. they should also be clear, neat, and somewhat professional looking. if you're having trouble with graphics there are plenty of people around this site, caution, atf, etc. that would be willing to help you out.
ACCURACY; this is, after all, a disney personified site so where would the fun be if we weren't accurate? your human character should be similiar in appearance, as well as personality and history, to the disney character. the connection is vital. on that same note, if the disney character has siblings in the movies you aren't inclined to make your human character have siblings. in fact go wild and make them have a sibling from a different movie!
PLAY BYS; you already know that the play by should be similar in appearance to the disney character. however, you are only able to use well known, celebrity play bys. this includes famous actors, actresses, singers, models, etc. you will be asked to change your play by if it doesn't fit these stipulations.
COMMON SENSE; essentially if you follow all of the proboards terms of services and get along alright with the other members you should have no problems. treat each other with respect and dignity, and all that other golden rule stuff.
